Alex Adeyemo

Alex is our Consultant Family Solicitor who qualified in 2003. He has practised all over the country, delivering an exceptional legal service working at national firms and local practices before joining Leonard Solicitors.

Alex chose to practice law to make a practical difference to people’s lives. Having experienced injustice at a young age, he was drawn to a career where he could offer solutions and support clients through difficult circumstances. He specialises in family law because he sees family as the bedrock of society, and finds real fulfilment in helping clients through major life transitions such as divorce, financial matters, child arrangements, and domestic abuse issues.

Earlier in this career, Alex worked as a Senior Crown Prosecutor and appeared in courts including Croydon, Bromley and Bexley Magistrates’ Court. He is also a Court Appointed Qualified Legal Representative (Q.L.R), conducting cross-examinations on behalf of prohibited parties. This work takes him to courts across the country, including the Royal Courts of Justice in London, as well as hearings in Portsmouth and Bournemouth.

Alex is known for his calm, approachable manner and his ability put clients at ease. Wherever possible, he focuses on resolving matters through negotiations, particularly in financial remedy, TOLATA and child arrangements cases. His aim is to reduce the stress and costs of litigation, and to help families reach workable outcomes without prolonged court proceedings.

Alex has successfully resolved many child arrangements, matrimonial finance and TOLATA matters through negotiation, helping clients avoid the pressure of court proceedings and the significant costs that can follow.

Outside of the office, Alex is a keen motorbike rider and attends the May Day Bike Ride to Hastings each year. He also plays table tennis in the Bromley and Croydon leagues, enjoys the cinema and a good Netflix drama, and keeps active through football and treadmill training.
