Sarah is an experienced Criminal Law Solicitor, successfully getting her clients acquitted in high profile criminal cases.

Sarah qualified as a solicitor in 1992 and has since practiced criminal law primarily in Southampton. As a duty solicitor, she advises clients from the beginning of their case, from the outset at the Police Station up to and including the Crown Court.

Sarah is highly experienced in the most serious allegations such as murder, rape, drug offences and serious fraud. Additionally, Sarah is regularly instructed on regulatory offences that includes HMRC, Maritime and Coastguard Agency, HSE, SIA, Local Authority and RSPCA interviews and proceedings.

Sarah represents clients at Magistrates Court and deals with all types of hearings that include youth cases, bail, trials, sentencing and Road Traffic offences.  Additionally, she conducts a range of serious and complex cases at the Crown Court.

Sarah is an accredited member of the Law Society’s Criminal Litigation Scheme and comes highly recommended by the firm and her clients.

  • R v I - Successful defence of a Yacht Manager accused of Gross Negligence Manslaughter following the sinking of a yacht in the Atlantic
  • R v B - Successful defence of the master of a motor yacht following an accident between a jet ski and the yacht.
  • R v L - Defending a man accused of murder. Acquitted of murder on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
  • R v Y - Defending a female accused of murder. Acquitted of murder.
