Faster completions with Leonard Solicitors
“The service I received from Leonard Solicitors was excellent from start to finish. Their app enabled me to see what stage I was at in the process which was very helpful. My conveyancer was Asad and he was brilliant. If I had a question I could email and I would often get a response the same day. If I called he would do his best to respond the same day. My estate agent was also super impressed with how efficient Asad was in getting things done. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone looking for a friendly yet professional service – 5 Stars.”

How much does conveyancing cost?
This can vary depending on the value of the property you are buying or selling. Some additional charges and disbursements may apply to your transaction, most commonly, Help to Buy or Shared Ownership fees. Some of these fees are what we pay directly to external parties, for example, Inland Revenue. They may or may not apply to your transaction, so it’s best to speak to one of our friendly conveyancing advisors to find out. You can get a free, no-obligation conveyancing quote at the top of the page.
How long does the conveyancing process take to complete?
Your Residential Conveyancing Solicitor will advise you along the journey, which typically takes between 8 to 10 weeks, and will keep in touch on matters that possibly make the process longer. These typically depend on mortgages on either side of the transaction because they take longer than cash purchases, and any completions of new builds in the chain.
We respond to enquiries from all parties as a high priority, but not every stakeholder we deal with will do the same. Sometimes this can delay the progress, nevertheless, your Residential Conveyancing Solicitor will take a pro-active approach in getting the answers they need.
